Thanks for coming to Skate in the Park, the only outdoor ice rink around. The rink is closed for the season, but check out Sertich Ice Center for more skating fun.

Special activities

Nov. 18 Season Opening, Free skating 5-9pm.

Nov. 19 Tree Lighting, Holiday activities and Santa starting at 4:30pm, giant tree lighting at 5:30pm. Sponsored by Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services.

Nov. 20 Turkey Bowl for Charity, 1-2pm. Bring a turkey and try your luck at on-ice bowling for prizes. Sponsored by Downtown Colorado Springs.

Nov. 27 Santa Skate, Free Santa hats for skaters 3-5pm (while supplies last). Sponsored by Beauty Bar.

Dec. 3 Family Skate Day, $2 off per parent/child pair. Sponsored by UC Health.

Dec. 4 Broncos Pride, $1 off admission if you wear orange and blue. Sponsored by Insurance Technologies.

Dec. 10 Learn to Skate USA SkateFest, Free skating lessons with members of Team USA, registration opens at 8:15am. Lesson 1 (9:30-10:15 a.m.) is for Therapeutic Recreation, specially desinged classes for individuals with a range of physical or developmental disabilities. Lesson 2 (10:45 – 11:30 a.m). and lesson 3 (11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.) are open to everyone. Sponsored by US Figure Skating. Learn more about SkateFest here.

Dec. 11 Skate with the Switchbacks, Meet members of the Switchbacks soccer team, 2-4pm.

Jan. 1 Broncos Pride, $1 off admission if you wear orange and blue. Sponsored by Insurance Technologies.

Jan. 2 Skate with Tigers, Meet members of the Colorado College Tigers Hockey Team, get skating tips and autographs, 1-3pm.

Jan. 6 Neon Night, Glow necklaces and live DJ from 4-8pm. Sponsored by Downtown Colorado Springs.

Jan. 7 Skate with Team USA, Meet members of the US Figure Skating team, get autographs and free admission! 10am - noon. Sponsored by US Figure Skating.

Jan 16 Last Chance Skate, $1 off admission all day.
